This flower is from my garden. I really like these flowers and took a lot of pictures of them (maybe 80 pictures). The problem was that there were a lot of leaves on the soil and the color of the soil itself isn't very pretty. The first picture has the most part copped, focusing on the flower, showing little amount of soil. I really liked this picture because the lighting makes the petals a transparent feeling and the soil actually creates a contrast with the flower. The second picture had more soil included but most parts get trimmed of since they are not necessary. The part left has more leaf and plus the pixelatation, it's hard to tell that the soil is mushy. What I really liked about this picture is that the leaf that covers half of the flower gives the flower a shy feeling, and the picture shows the smoothness of the petals, even though it's hard to see after pixelating it.
Similar to the flower, the tomatoes are from my own yard. They taste really good. One thing hard about taking the pictures is that the weather was always cloudy when I'm home, which means that the lighting in bad. Thanks to Photoshop, now they all look nice and fresh. The first picture was a bowl of tomatoes taken in the house. The tomatoes were freshly picked, I organized them to have the smaller sized ones in the middle. The second picture has a really cool part, which is the tomatoes' color was gradually changing. I didn't organize this one, it's the magic of nature. But to make the leaves look less messy, I chose to use the pixeling on this picture.
I made this figurine in middle school out of clay. There's a coating of clear glaze that makes it look shiny. This is important to me because it's memories from middle school. The pictures were taken on my sister's desk in front of the window. I position them on one side of the screen at about one third. For the second picture, I had the figure turn inwards because if it turns outwards, I personally think that the picture will feel incomplete, like there're more to the picture on the side the object is facing. The challenge is that the eyes of the figure is small and shallow, which means it going to be harder to see after the pixelation.
This figure is suppose to be me. My Aunt got me this when we went to take pictures (we make photo books every time we visit my grandma who lives with my Uncle and Aunt). What's interesting is that my sister has one that has a face exactly like mine, nut I don't look exactly like my sister. These photos are also taken on my sister's desk; the backgrounds are the same. And again, the second picture is a bit to the right and facing inwards. I had the camera turn upwards to take the picture because it makes the legs look longer.
This is a key chain, but I have it on my backpack. I got it on a stall during middle school. At that time, one of my friends was crazily in love with Big Hero 6. So when I saw Bay max, I thought: I had to get this. Bay max has been on my backpack for more than 2 years. The background of this picture is my backpack. For the first picture, I had Bay max stand on my the zippers of my backpack on the right side, balances by other things hanging on the zippers on the left. The second picture had Bay max slanted. The pixelation has a similar texture of the fabric of my backpack.
